Required Documents
To rent a car in Dubai or Abu Dhabi with Yeti Car Rental, the following requirements and conditions apply:
For UAE Residents
- Valid UAE driving license (minimum 6 months validity)
- Passport
- Resident visa
- Emirates ID
- Credit card
For Tourists
- Valid International Driving Permit (IDL). Yeti staff can assist in obtaining one.
- Visitors from certain countries can drive with their national driver's license.
- Passport

The minimum driver age is 21 years.

Important Notes
- Damage to tires, hubcaps, antennas, and windshields is not covered by insurance.
- Insurance does not cover damage incurred on unpaved roads, while towing, racing, or driving under the influence.
- Driving under the influence invalidates the insurance.
- Insurance coverage applies only within the UAE.
- An Accident Report (police report) is mandatory in case of an accident.
Rent and Deposit
- A valid credit card is required for a security deposit to cover additional costs like fuel, lease extensions, accidents, damages, toll roads (Salik), and traffic fines. By signing the lease agreement, the renter authorizes Yeti Car Rental LLC to charge the provided credit card for any additional costs.
- Car pick-up time is from 9:00 to 19:00 UAE local time. Delivery is confirmed by Yeti Car Rental employees after receiving the reservation. Car delivery is chargeable. Delivery outside working hours is possible upon prior request at least 24 hours before car delivery.
Cost of Additional Services
- Toll road (Salik): AED 5 per gate crossing (Dubai only); AED 1 service charge for other toll roads in the UAE.
- If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, a refueling fee of AED 10 plus the actual fuel cost will be charged.
